Southern Cross Care (Qld) Inc is a Catholic lay organisation providing non-discriminatory care services based on Christian ethical values.

Our purpose

In a Christian environment help people to better health and well being by:

• Being a leader in the provision of responsive and caring aged care services;
• Advocating effectively for the value of the aged;
• Building strong partnerships;
• Being a professional and sought after employer which values and develops its workforce; and

Eligibility for residency

All residents are required to have an assessment carried out by the Commonwealth Aged Care Assessment Team before they can be accepted for entry in the hostel.
