Cabanda Residential Accommodation
Cabanda Hostel and Lodge is a purpose-built aged care facility accredited by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing. Cabanda offers residential accommodation with ageing-in-place.
Our residential care includes: 
- Private rooms with ensuite
- Assisted living
- Personal care support
- Stimulating activities and social outings
Cabanda also provides a secure dementia-specific wing.
Short term residential care is available.
Retirement village
Cabanda retirement village provides independent living to seniors and persons with disability in two ways:
- Independent living units purchased by residents
- Long term rental units provided by community housing
The units with one, two or three bedrooms are architecturally designed. Most have lock-up garage.
The village provides an enhanced lifestyle:
- Companionship
- Privacy and independence is assured and encouraged
- 24 hour emergency call service
- Village residents have priority access to Cabanda Hostel and Lodge
Our community
Cabanda Aged Care is the realisation of the dreams and plans of many of the Rosewood Community to provide care for those in need. It is a not-for-profit organisation that is owned by the community and operated by a committee of locals.
Cabanda is committed to enrich the lives of all older, frail and disabled persons within the Rosewood district by providing a secure, safe and caring environment.
Cabanda Aged Care is governed by a board that is elected annually. Operational responsibility is delegated to the manager and staff. At present many volunteers from the district help to provide additional services and to keep residents involved in their local community.
Community bus service
Cabanda provides a once weekly Community Bus Service to and from Ipswich (wheelchair accessible).
