Located within the Bowden Brae Retirement Village at Normanhurst, the Bowden Brae Day Centre provides respite care for clients with High Care needs, enabling carers to take time out.
Who Can Access the Bowden Brae Day Centre?
- Carers and care recipients living in the Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai and Lower North Shore areas
- Care recipients who are 65 years and above who have High Care needs
The Centre is open Thursday and Friday from 10am to 3pm. Attendees are offered a range of activities, including:
• Gentle exercise
• Arts
• Bingo
• BBQs
• Music Therapy
• Discussion Groups
• Quizzes
• Movies
• Theme Days
Physiotherapy, podiatry and hairdressing services can be arranged for an additional fee
