How do I work?

All human beings go through stages of increasing self-awareness of their own psychological and emotional patterns. I support you to recognise them, act to change them and consciously integrate them into your life. I am trained in the practices of Transpersonal Psychotherapy and Counselling. Therefore, I don't rely on clever counselling techniques as it's my view that everyone is an individual and different approaches are needed to authentically honour each individual and their specific life situation. Many psychologists and counsellors rely on only one or two evidenced based processes and people often come to me because they have found those techniques unhelpful in their healing.

Who do I work with?

My clients come from all walks of life. I am particularly interested in women's health and wellbeing and so women tend to form a large proportion of my client base.

Why do people come to me?

For counselling and psychotherapy it's general life issues, feelings of unhappiness, aloneness, anxiety, stress, addictive behaviour patterns, depression, grief, weight loss, past abuse, anger, poor communication and esteem, relationship issues. For personal coaching clients generally feel stuck, frustrated or want make some sort of change or transition. Professional coaching clients are usually developing their leadership skills, wanting to get ahead in their careers or manage challenging situations. Some are on career plans and so they want support with feedback they've been given. Energetic Healing clients feel that something's not quite right but they can't put their finger on it - they find healing sessions help them to learn more about what's going on for them. Other healing clients come because they just need "me time".

What are my qualifications?

Dip. H. Counselling; Dip. Eco-psychology; Grad.Cert.in Bus.

I am also a teacher and counsellor at Awareness Institute, a centre for people who want to deepen their experience of conscious living and personal fullfilment, and an associate of Earth Institute an organisational development consultancy servicing the corporate sector.
