Children's Counsellor

Anna has over 14 years experience working with children aged 3-45. She offers individual, group and family counselling, both home based and centre based. She provides support to families with building on parenting skills and building positive relationships.

Anna employs a strengths based approach and draws on Humanist and Behaviourist approaches to guiding children's behaviour. She is also familiar with the 'Triple P' (Positive Parenting Programme).

Anna's area of specialty include:   

• Promoting the development of positive self-esteem
• Developing social and communication skills
• Promoting emotional resilience
• Anger management 
• Dealing with the impact of domestic/family violence
• Grief and loss counselling
• managing issues attributable to the experience of family separation
• Promoting secure attachment relationships with significant others
