The Deafness Forum is the peak body for deafness in Australia, representing the interests and views of all deaf and hearing impaired communities in the country. It liaises with government in relation to policies and legislation affecting its members, generates public awareness and provides a forum for information sharing.

Membership is open to both organisations and individuals.
