Inner West Clinical Hypnotherapy Centre

'Hartland's Medical and Dental Hypnosis' textbook by Heap and Aravind (2010, pg 64) states that:

Hypnosis is a way of helping people to feel very relaxed and to respond to suggestions and ideas that are going to help them. However, it's not the same as being asleep. When you're asleep, you aren't aware of what's going on around you. During hypnosis, people usually say that they are still aware of what is going on around them but it doesn't seem to matter. It goes into the background. In fact, it's rather like when you are absorbed in a book or some music or a daydream; you know that things are going on around you but you just don't need to take any notice.

Using the most appropriate methods, we treat all clients safely and effectively with care and compassion to achieve results quickly and effectively.

The Inner West Clinical Hypnotherapy Centre is fully qualified, registered and insured - BA, DURP, CACH, IICT, OAMPS.
