MoveAbout Therapy Services

MoveAbout Therapy Services provides high quality services including occupational therapy, parent coaching and support, intensive therapy and consultation.

Through empowering children and families, we provide tools for living outside of the therapy environment.

Our occupational therapy staff work to assist children with underlying challenges (motor, sensory, social, emotional, behaviour) as well as the functional tasks they find difficult (handwriting, dressing, eating, toileting, playing, social skills).

Our staff have experience and training in Australia and the United States of America and continually aim to provide the best service based on the most current information.

Families may receive reimbursements from Medicare and Private Health. Medicare initiatives include the Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC), the Mental Health Care Plan and the new Autism initiative beginning in July 2008.

Two members of our team, Dave & Kathy, are the creators of the MoveAbout ActivityCards, a 64 card deck of cards with sensory diet and strengthening activities.
