Sproutz Occupational Therapy (OT) is a private OT service for children, young people and their families in the Redland-Bayside district, QLD.

Sproutz offers a range of services, including:

• Free consultations,
• Assessments,
• Individual and group therapy,
•  School visits and home visits,
• School group programs, and
• Educational sessions.

Sproutz OT is based at Coolnwynpin State School, Capalaba, QLD. Children enrolled in other schools are welcome to attend therapy sessions.

Assessment and intervention is targeted for children who have difficulties accessing or participating in either the home, school or community environments. Sproutz focuses on function and specific tasks your child needs to, wants to or is expected to achieve. Evidence based assessment and intervention is provided.

Services are aimed at increasing children's independent participation in different parts of their lives. This includes:

• Collaboratively developing goals and identifying effective solutions to the child’s everyday challenges;
  
• Assisting the child in the learning process;
  
• Modifying tasks and/ or the environment for the child to succeed;
  
• Promoting independence; and
  
• Ensuring tasks are achievable and enhance each child’s quality of life.

Sproutz is always looking to develop collaborative partnerships with other organisations including schools and child services in the Redland-Bayside District.
