Vista Psychology Practice is dedicated to providing counselling and psychological services tailored to meet your specific goals and requirements. The focus of the service is to provide effective, evidence-based treatments that will create meaningful change in the person’s life. Emphasis is placed on a thorough understanding of each individual/ family, and work is conducted in a collaborative manner within a supportive and encouraging environment.

Some of the services that are available include but not limited to:

• Individual Therapy and counselling: for anxiety, depression, family breakdown, OCD, eating disorders, trauma, grief.
• Children: Management of complex, difficult or challenging behaviours in children (eg ADHD, ODD), helping children deal with anxiety, OCD, phobias, fears, sleeping problems, elimination disorders, eating problems, or Asperger’s. Emotional coaching eg for the shy or timid child or child with low self esteem. We offer psychometrics, learning assessments and assistance with learning difficulties.
• Help for new parents with: the transition to parenthood, relationships, PND, parent child bonding/attachment and resilience training.
• Help for families: going through divorce, separation and bereavement.
• Family Therapy: aimed at resolving conflict or addressing specific problems.
• Work Cover Service provider

Bulk billing/Medicare rebates are available to clients who have been referred by a GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist via a Mental Health Care Plan.
