Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Binge Eating

Do you sometimes feel that your eating is out of control? At times, do you eat when you are not hungry until you feel uncomfortably full? Do you binge when alone, and then feel ashamed or disgusted about your eating binges? If you answered "yes" to these questions, then you may be interested in joining our Binge Eating Group. The group is being run at the ACAP Psychology Clinic, a not for profit psychology training clinic located above Wynyard station in the Sydney CBD.

  • The group is free to participants, and will be run by provisionally registered psychologists under the supervision of a clinical psychologist
  • The program involves 10 X 2 hour weekly group meetings, with a further two follow-up meetings. Group members will also receive two 90 minute individual assessments

If you are interested in finding out more about the group, please telephone the ACAP Psychology Clinic on 02 8236 8070 and ask to speak to someone about the Binge Eating Group.
