Dear Parent,

Does your child need help with any academic or personal challenges?

We can help with many different issues, including:

  • Emotional issues, such as anxiety, depression, anger management, relaxation and stress management
  • Thinking skills - critical thinking, problem analysis and creative solutions
  • Study skills - techniques and strategies for improved learning and study
  • Learning disabilities, such as dyslexia and other specific learning disorders
  • Intellectual issues, such as assessing giftedness, applying for special needs funding or special consideration
  • Social issues, such as friendship problems, bullying and relationship difficulties
  • And more...

My name is Deborah Jepsen. I'm an experienced Educational & Developmental Psychologist and the director of Melbourne Child Psychology, located in Port Melbourne, Australia.

The two main services we offer are:

  • educational assessment; and
  • practical, solution-focused counselling.

About Educational Assessment

With each educational assessment you will receive two detailed lists of recommendations and strategies to improve learning:

  1. for you to implement at home; and
  2. for the teacher to apply at school.

Our office is located in a lovely position opposite the beach in Port Melbourne. The rooms have a friendly ocean theme and offer a tranquil, sound-insulated environment.

Appointments

Your first step is to meet with a psychologist for an initial 30 minute consultation. We'll make sure you get the right advice for your child's needs.

I look forward to meeting you and your child!

Sincerely,
Deborah Jepsen, MAPS
