I have started my career in the UK, expanding my horizons to Australia four years ago when i moved to the Mid North coast.

Throughout my career I've worked mainly with children/adults with a range of needs - from those with mild speech and language impairments to those with more complex disabilities. I have specialist knowledge in Alternative and Augamentative Communication(AAC) such as Makaton sign, communication books and devices and software supporting those that require the extra adjunct to their speech - so that they can communicate functionally.

I'm a trained Makaton presenter and am available to run this accredited course which provides practical opportunities to learn key word signing whilst learning about the theory of AAC.

I'm also available for training to teach parents, teachers, carers and other staff to support their child's/clients communication skills to their full potential.
