Aged Care Complaints Investigation Scheme (CIS)

The Aged Care Act 1997 sets out the responsibilities of approved service providers who receive Government funding. The CIS can investigate complaints where an approved provider is not meeting their responsibilities under the Act. If required, the CIS can provide access to an interpreter service, TTY (deaflink) or advocacy service.
