Community Emergency Services
Community Emergency Services Incorporated is a non profit, charitable volunteer based emergency first aid service based in the Hunter Valley of NSW.
Volunteers from Community Emergency Services Incorporated provide first aid and other safety functions at many public events around the Central Coast, Greater Hunter, New England and North Coast regions of NSW.
The training of volunteers ranges from Senior First Aid to Advanced First Aid, Advanced Life Support, Remote Area First Aid, Specialist First Aid, Patient Transport as well as Medical Professionals and specialists.
Community Emergency Services is covered by Public Liability and Product Liability Insurance to $10,000,000 for each volunteer provided by the Community Care Underwriting Agency.
Through an appointment of an external first aid trainer for the volunteers, Community Emergency Services Incorporated is able to assist members of the public gain first aid training.
Training available ranges from a senior first aid course, right up to occupational first aid. Prices start at $100 for a senior first aid course that is nationally recognised and VETAB accredited.
Community Emergency Services Incorporated is always looking for more volunteers to help out their local community. Membership is free of charge, and Community Emergency Services will provide all training and uniforms needed. No prior first aid experience is necessary.
The Community First Aid Program allows members of the public who are low income earners, unemployed and pensioners access to subsidised first aid training for a senior first aid certificate. If successful Community Emergency Services Incorporated will arrange for you to complete a course, and partially or wholly fund your certificate.
