Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Certificate Training



We are amongst the pioneers in Australia, offering MHFA Certificate Training. The training course is based on evidence-based mental health research and awards participants a certificate on completion - a formal qualification for a Mental Health First Aider.


The MHFA course provides the following benefits to students and the organisations they are working for:

  • up-to-date knowledge about the symptoms, causes and evidence-based treatments of mental illness
  • ability to assist in early intervention and support of people with mental illnesses
  • skills to decide what action should be taken in mental health crisis situations such as a suicide attempt, plan or intent
  • skills to combat the stigma of mental illness
  • skills to better manage workplace issues and reduce absenteeism related to mental health  
  • participants receive an MHFA Manual and other resources.

There are no prerequisite for participants.
