Where no commercial products are available, TADNSW creates customised aids or modifies existing devices for people with a disability.

A professional team is available in Sydney to help define the needs of clients.

Devices are made by volunteers and clients pay only for the cost of the materials and a small administration fee.

Donated computers and ancillary equipment are sold to clients and maintained for a minimal annual fee.

Volunteers sort, assess and deliver equipment and provide tuition to clients.

Library resources cover many aspects of disability but especially the application of technology.

The Service publishes a journal and brochures, and organises displays and speakers.
