Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced health professionals for the permanent full time position of Manager Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).

Warrnambool is a picturesque seaside city located on the Great Ocean Road approximately 264 kilometres southwest of Melbourne, with a population of 34,000. The city boasts excellent sporting, education, social and cultural facilities offering an attractive lifestyle opportunity.
The successful applicant will lead a specialist multidisciplinary team in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services providing community based integrated mental health care to the community of south western Victoria.

The service is based in Warrnambool with approximately 13 full time equivalent staff, including Peers Support Workers and the out of hours Triage Team. The CAMHS team services consumers up to the age of 18 years across various programs including an Infant Mental Health program, CAMHS and School Early Action program, Early Intervention/Dual Diagnosis program and conducts Autism Spectrum Diagnosis assessments for school aged children. Clinicians work closely with a range of services and practitioners to enhance service delivery.

Applicants for the position should be experienced in mental health-specifically in the area of Child, Adolescent and Family with strong leadership and management skills and experience. Knowledge of current issues in the provision of a modern child & adolescent mental health service delivery system is required.

Remuneration, benefits/salary packaging and conditions of employment will be negotiated with the successful applicant commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience.
