Australian trained cardiologists are Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with specialty training in cardiology. Most cardiologists in Australia are also Fellows of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and use the post-nominal identification FCSANZ.
Overseas trained cardiologists can apply to have their specialist training and experience assessed and recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
