The Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) is the country's peak body for the disciplines of gastroenterology and hepatology.
Within the Society there are several associations for subspecialties: the Australian Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association, Australian Liver Association and Special Interest Groups.
GESA disseminates information relating to the digestive system on its website and through its educational arm, the Digestive Health Foundation.
