He was offered the position of General Surgical PHO and Oral & Maxillofacial Registrar at Ipswich Hospital. Dr Hawthorne now holds the position as a VMO, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Logan Hospital. His private practice,Intraface Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, was founded in 2009.
