Eden Rehabilitation Centre is the only specialist private rehabilitation hospital between the northside of Brisbane and Cairns. 

We specialise in rehabilitation in the areas of orthopaedics, neurology, musculoskeletal, stroke, reconditioning and pain management via the full spectrum of inpatient, day therapy and outpatient programs.

Eden also runs a multidisciplinary ‘Shape Up’ program which aims to achieve long term lifestyle-modification for people living with obesity. This six-week program focuses on nutrition, psychology, exercise and education.

Eden’s multidisciplinary teams of medical, nursing and allied health professionals work collaboratively with patients to develop personalised rehabilitation programs aimed at achieving an optimum level of functioning, mobility and independence prior to going home.

Our team of experienced physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologist and speech pathologist are also available to members of the community via private consultations.

Eden Rehabilitation Centre’s fully-equipped gymnasium is supervised by an Exercise Physiologist, who oversees group exercise classes and develops individual exercise programs for people of all ages from the general community.

Eden Rehabilitation Centre’s intensive therapy programs assist patients recovering from:

  • orthopaedic surgery (e.g. joint replacements)
  • fracture
  • stroke
  • neurosurgery
  • amputation

and those living with or experiencing:

  • neurological conditions (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease)
  • musculoskeletal conditions (e.g. back pain, arthritis)
  • general debilitation
  • high falls risk
