Where no commercial products are available, TADNSW creates customised aids or modifies an existing device for people with a disability.

A professional team is available in Sydney to help define the needs of clients.

Devices are made by volunteers and clients pay only for the cost of the materials.

TAD/Gale Computer Loan Service

Donated computers and ancillary equipment are loaned to clients and maintained for a minimal annual fee.

The computer is delivered and installed for the client. The service includes repair or replacement of equipment.

Volunteers sort, assess and deliver equipment and provide tuition to clients.

Assistance in finding information is available to anyone interested in disability.

Library resources that can be borrowed cover many aspects of disability but especially the application of technology.

The Information Centre also publishes a journal and brochures, and organises displays and speakers.
