As the peak body representing the community-based mental health sector in Western Australia, one of  WAAMH's main services is the provision of an information and referral service to the public.

Many individuals telephone WAAMH  for information regarding community-based services where they could receive  optimum support for themselves, or their loved ones. General requests are also received for information about mental health and mental health issues.

WAAMH also coordinates Mental Health Week in WA, including “National Stress Less Day” in October of each year.  See the website fro further information.
