Optometrists Association Australia is the professional association for Australian optometrists. It provides a range of services to its members, including representing them and their interests to government and other bodies, and providing resources and publications to assist them in their practices.

It also provides information about optometry to the Australian public. Optometrists Association represents over 95 per cent of optometrists in Australia.

Optometrists are trained to diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of visual and ocular health-related concerns, including: prescribing spectacles and contact lenses, diagnosing, managing and treating eye diseases and treating minor eye injuries.
