Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) is a leading independent provider of accreditation services in Australia, with over 21 years of industry experience and insight.

Established in 1997, AGPAL is a not-for-profit, health promotion charity committed to delivering dedicated support to general practices, medical deputising services, after-hours services, Aboriginal medical services and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

We support practices by sharing our knowledge and providing a comprehensive range of resources, tools and education offerings to help practices work towards achieving accreditation, including customisable templates and policy & procedure manual, fact sheets, e-Learning modules and more.

AGPAL clients also have access to a dedicated Client Liaison team and our unique accreditation hub - an online platform tailored to each practice’s individual accreditation timelines and framework requirements, inclusive of an array of functionality to make the accreditation and quality improvement process more efficient.

Consistent with our commitment to accreditation and quality improvement, AGPAL is accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) – the accreditor of the accreditors. Being accredited ourselves gives us a 360 degree insight into the needs, support and effort which practices undertake to achieve accreditation.
