Founded in 2005 as an online Medical company, Medshop Australia initially targeted the allied health professions. Medshop now offers products, services and solutions to all aspects of healthcare including; aged care, hospitals, universities, clinics, allied health care providers, nurses and the general public.

In April 2008 Medshop opened its first store in Fairfield Melbourne. In 2010 Medshop relocated to a new larger showroom and warehouse complex in Preston, Victoria.  This has enabled Medshop to offer a broader range of medical equipment and medical consumables both online and through the showroom.

Leading brands represented include - Welch Allyn, Littmann Stethoscope, Athlegen Tables, Smith & Nephew, BD Medical, Laerdal and Professional Surgical Instruments.
