Australians living with a disability are assisted by a range of services offered by public, private and not-for-profit organisations.

The largest group of disability service providers are not-for-profit, represented by the National Disability Services Limited (NDS). NDS is a nation-wide industry association with over 600 members, operating several thousand services for people with all types of disability.
